In relation to certain media captions as well as inquiries related to the alleged fuel leak at the Sarajevo International Airport, we would like to inform the public that this is completely unfounded and inaccurate information, which is published by either unverified or malicious sources and which aims to destroy the prestige and the reputation of Sarajevo International Airport.
Namely, there is currently no fuel in the tank owned by the EOL Petrol company, so there could not have been a leak. Also, the information about the illegal operations of the company EOL Petrol d.o.o. at Sarajevo International Airport is completely wrong.
Sarajevo International Airport is the owner of the Environmental and Water Permit, which precisely prescribes the procedure on the site of Sarajevo International Airport, and you should know that we have an ISO 14001 environmental management system implemented since 2010, which obliges us to protect the environment in accordance with the rigorous requirements of the standard.
All users of the MAS premises, including the company EOL Petrol d.o.o., operate in accordance with the signed Agreement, in which they undertook to apply all requirements from the standards and permits of Sarajevo International Airport, both from the safety aspect and from the aspect of environmental protection.
The operation of EOL Petrol at the Sarajevo International Airport was also the subject of an inspection, and the finding is completely in order.
